I’ve noticed a trend in mom to be sashes, ribbons and unique name tags at baby showers. Today I’m sharing a simple mom to be baby shower ribbon that will only take about 15 minutes to create!
I chose to use blue colors, but a mixture of ribbons and styles for themed showers would be fun to use too.
This ribbon reminds me of a first place prize ribbon and let’s face it, expecting a baby is just like receiving a first place prize!
So give mom that fancy center stage seat while having her wear her DIY mommy ribbon. Grab the how to details below.
Circle hole punch 2 in. or large (optional)
Hot glue gun
Ribbon printer or Sharpie for writing (you can find details on a ribbon printer here)
Using a circle punch or scissors cut a circle from a piece of thick cardstock
Cut the circle in half and fold accordion style.
Attach the circle back together by using tape or hot glue
Attach a fabric flower or decorative piece to the center using hot glue
Attach your custom mom to be ribbon to the fabric flower OR use a marker to write your term of choice on a piece of ribbon and attach
Cut pieces of ribbon and attach to the base of the flower, trim to the desired length
Attach to the mom to be using a safety pin
