How fun would it be to host a Halloween themed baby shower?! What better way to welcome a “lil’ pumpkin” in to the world than with an untraditional shower with a little added sparkle? I am not really a fan of the holiday per se, but I think doing a glam take on some traditional elements would be really fun and look amazing. Taking a cue from traditional Halloween colors like orange and black, I would mix in peaches and golds to make it a little bit out of the ordinary and lighten it up a bit. While black is the perfect accent, I wouldn’t want the décor to be too dark as a baby shower is a joyous occasion. A fun way to add in some slightly spooky touches would be through cool serve ware like these claw bowls from Pottery Barn (link in email). The nickel finish on the legs makes them a bit elegant and are a fun Halloween-esque element. Use pumpkins throughout the party to tie in the theme. Think of fun ways to use them in the décor, such as to hold flowers or beverages. Also consider creating pumpkin flavored treats for your guests. Add a little glitz to some flower arrangements with these cool “BOO” sparklers or use them as decorative picks in your displayed food. Send a set home with each guest as a favor.
