If you’re searching for an alternative to traditional baby shower games, this craft is for the win! Simple showers that offer more time to chat with guests should all include a craft session. Sip on those themed mocktails, grab the paint and get creative with your favorites! Hands-on crafting with the ladies always calls for laughter and the best of memories, so be sure to have those cameras ready.
If you’re on the fence about hands on baby shower crafting, keep things simple with a craft that requires minimal supplies. This Q-tip artwork DIY allows friends and family an opportunity to decorate something with love for baby and also gives Mom-to-be one of a kind items to forever cherish. For larger showers, consider having guests work in groups on a larger canvas, and as the shower hostess, have the supplies prepped and ready for use before guests arrive. For smaller showers, consider having each guest create a mini masterpiece on cardstock that can later be framed for the nursery.
Supplies: Q-tips, paint (3+ colors), 5 x 7 canvas or white cardstock and thin paint brush
Paint a letter, name or quote onto canvas. Decorate with Q-tip dots. Tip- keep a small amount of paint on the q-tip and lightly press down once.
Happy baby shower crafting!
