Here in Colorado, winter has finally arrived…and with that comes cozy socks, boots and mittens along with lots of yummy hot cocoa.
If you have a little one arriving in the wintertime, there are lots of cute Winter Wonderland ideas that you can incorporate into your baby shower.
Below is an adorable winter-themed invite from ModernBeautiful on Etsy. Not only do I love the aqua color (my favorite!), but they have different colors and sayings that are also geared toward having a winter/holiday-themed shower.
Here is another cute invitation that would work perfectly for a winter-themed baby shower. You can find this invite on Etsy from EventswithGrace. One of the things that caught my eye immediately (besides the beautiful design) was the information boxes at the bottom of the invitation. Having these individual spaces to fill in the event details makes this a fun and unique invite.
Hot chocolate is the first thing that comes to mind when I want a nice, warm drink in the winter. Your guests will not only be cozy and warm, they’ll LOVE being able to customize their drink with lots of goodies…the possibilities are endless. I found this Hot Chocolate Bar on www.kevinandamanda.com and immediately fell in love with their display. Usings cute pails and mason jars are easy ways to display all of the different treats, along with cute labels, that can be made and printed. Another idea would be to use the metal pails as shown below but add a little chalkboard paint to the front of each one and hand write the item on the front.
And don’t forget the (cup)cakes and cookies!
What better way to combine a baby shower and hot cocoa? Put the hot cocoa mix inside of a baby bottle to send home with each of your guests, such as these from B Lovely Events:
And if you’re feeling really creative, you can create paper snowflakes in the shape of baby bottles, such as these from http://babyli.st/blog/
